As the President for Colorado State University-Global Campus, Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker blends her passion for education and her experience with nonprofit governance with the best practices of her business management and organizational leadership work in technology, consumer goods, and B2B industries. In her role as President, Becky champions data-driven and technology-based solutions in a nontraditional university framework, to ensure student educational success, graduate workplace employment, and a sustainable model for the university. Becky is proud of her work in helping to create and lead CSU-Global which is the nation’s first and only 100% online fully accredited and public university, a unique institution which strives to provide access, affordability, and student success without state funds. Becky is also a member of the District Accountability Committee to the Douglas County School Board for PK-12, a Board Member of the South Metro Denver Chamber, and a Board and Investment Committee member of the global International Women’s Forum (IWF) Leadership Foundation Board. Becky is a published scholar while continuing to actively serve on dissertation committees for finance, leadership and business management research studies. Becky holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a specialization in Leadership, an M.B.A. in Finance with a post-graduate certificate in Marketing Management, and a B.A. in Economics.
